The Sky is Full of Stars

We have been learning about the stars and the constellations. We read the book The Sky is Full of Stars by Franklyn M. Branley. The students chose the very important points as they read the book. Here are some of the VIP's from this informational book:

There are 88 constellations.
Sirius is one of the brightest blue winter stars.
Summer is the best time to see the Milky Way.
At different times of year you will see different stars.
The sun is a daytime star.
Pegasus is upside down in the sky.
Stars look the same, but they are not.
Stars are different colors; some are red, some are blue, some are white, and some are yellow.
Stars rise and set just like the sun.
