In Math we worked in pairs and the large group to come up with things that come in 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s. These are some of the things we came up with:

We chose from this list to create multiplication problems. For example, one student drew 5 spiders, with 8 legs each, creating the multiplication problem of 5x8=40.
We wrote a story based on the Mexican Folktale that we have been reading, Pedro and the Padre. Our vocabulary words this week came from the story: mischievous, saturate, cringe, penitence, skeptic, and retrieve.
Today we had Spanish, PE, Library, and Music.
