Planet Comparisons

The students created Venn Diagrams comparing and contrasting their planet to Earth. We used our Venn Diagrams to create compare or contrast paragraphs about our planet and Earth. The students chose to either compare or contrast their paragraphs. Some students used a paragraph frame to help them use compare and contrast vocabulary in their paragraph.

     Earth differs from Saturn in several ways. First, Earth has one moon. However, Saturn has about 53 moons. Another differences is that Earth has life and Saturn has no life. Finally, Earth has 4 layers and Saturn is made up of gases.

When they get to the planet Tyrra, the Tyrrans aren't very happy that Stanley is huge. The Tyrran's are running out of food so Stanley's family brings all of the Tyrrans to Earth until their food is restored. The End
